Hi and thanks for visiting.
I’m a knitter, hand-spinner, and quilter. I live in Colorado in a house full of half-finished projects, spinning wheels and barky little terriers. Okay, only two terriers. It just feels like more.
I get to look longingly at the mountains every day as I go about my job as a technical writer / sales person / jack of many trades. I like to think of myself as creative only sadly, not in the fun artsy way. I make stuff, lots of stuff, and some of it I even like when it’s done.
I’m a local-vore and really love the fact that we get lots of fresh organic food locally grown here. A milk man even brings my dairy every week. How cool is that!
I am inspired by the kindness of others, the antics of Westies, and the feel of fresh wool that wants to become a sweater.
I hope you’ll find my blog to be an interesting mix of autobiography, how-to and animal stories. You won’t find taxidermied animals or ways to program in Java, but who needs that stuff anyway?
Welcome to my world, and please leave your thoughts in the comments. I’d love to hear what inspires you.
